Crazy Diamonds to shine again in Tamworth!
Lovers of Pink Floyd are in for a treat when one of the country’s leading tribute bands return to the Tamworth Assembly Rooms on 25th January 2025. Dark Side Of The Wall’s previous two shows at the venue have been hugely popular, with their obvious love of the music always evident as they engage the audience in a journey through the back catalogue of one of history’s most memorable and enduring bands.
DSOTW’s live show is a spectacular combination of expertly recreated Pink Floyd tracks mixed with projections, lasers and a light show befitting of one of the pioneers in combining audio and visual in the presentation of their music.
Manager and bass player Steve Chilton says, “Whilst the common perception around Pink Floyd’s music is that it can be rather serious, I always like to think that one of the great selling points of a DSOTW show is the fact that we always bring our own personalities to the stage as an important part of the show. Playing this music is great fun and we love the fact that our audiences pick up on that and create the atmosphere with us. That’s what a DSOTW show is all about. Quality live music but also a great night out for both the band and the audience!”
During two and half hours of reverent tribute to their heroes, DSOTW perform music from all Pink Floyd’s classic albums and feature tracks such as Comfortably Numb, Money, Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond and Another Brick In The Wall to name just a few. If you’ve seen Dark Side of the Wall in concert before then you’ll know it’s a show not to be missed.
